About Us

Our Story

B E A T Fund is a community-based not-for-profit organisation in North Ipswich, Queensland. Founded in 2015 with bingo sessions at PCYC Ipswich, we paused during Covid but have returned with renewed energy and vision.

We exist to help people feel connected, supported and included. By offering regular events, creative workshops and social activities, we provide spaces where community members can meet, interact and build friendships.

Our mission is to combat social isolation and strengthen community spirit through enjoyable, inclusive and affordable activities.

Whilst the Ipswich region is the focus of our support from our current fundraising initiatives, we aim to expand in the years ahead. We acknowledge that since Covid there is a growing number of people of all ages who are more socially isolated, and this is not unique to Ipswich and surrounds. We aim to grow and expand our fundraising to reach other regions and communities in need.
